Toronto Binaural 16. So far they sound absolutely fantastic. What a way to start a show. Go, DTE, MYM, Binaural....

One of my first bootlegs and an excellent quality recording at that. One of my favorites too. Unfortunately disc one got jammed in a player years ago & in the process of getting it out it got scratched up. Broke my heart.Fuzzcharger wrote:Melbourne 17th March 1995 still gets me every time.

Alas the independent record store doesn't sell pricey import bootleg CDs anymore.

Doesn't ridley still have links up to the Soundboard Remasters Series? It probably will be an upgrade.

Can we talk about the transition from Severed Hand into Corduroy on the Quebec City boot from this year? God damn. I wish they did things like that more often, instead of having 10-15 seconds of silence between every song. It's too bad that it's almost completely marred by the Corduroy call-and-response breakdown.

Ha, Ed does this constantly now (starts the next song immediately after the previous one) and I hate it.Simple Torture wrote:Can we talk about the transition from Severed Hand into Corduroy on the Quebec City boot from this year? Many moons ago, it used to just be Lukin and Not For You he'd run together like that (and I hated that too) - now he does it whenever he gets the chance.

Yeah besides the acoustic set and a few scattered bits early in the main set, night 3 was weak.

8/27/00 - Oh man. They were so ON that night. I know bands grow older and things change, but I miss that Pearl Jam. Subtle changes made a BIG difference.
Similarly I was listening to Ledbetter from Atlanta 98. Mike's little Van Halen style addition at the end was such a sweet memory. No space for that kind of connection now.
