Only a couple songs in...not all that familiar with their work; so too soon to tell really. I'm gonna try to get into them for a show in a week or so, so I'll know better by then after a couple spins of all their records.turned2black wrote:Is this good? Well, check out "Silent Alarm." Can't imagine you won't hear at least half of it at the show. It's a great work-out/running album.Gods' Die wrote:Only a couple songs in...not all that familiar with their work; so too soon to tell really. Re: Now Playing
Listened to it throughout the day when I could while working; it seemed like a pretty interesting record to me (from that very limited basis), definitely worth listening to further from what I could hear...I'll listen to Silent Alarm on my way home from work.turned2black wrote:Well, check out "Silent Alarm." I lied...I listened to Mark Lanegan on the way home from work augmenting with some Soulsavers. It was cold, dark, and dreary...seemed the better option.

I'm currently listening to a co-worker sing songs from Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. So... that's happening.

Durden and I certainly had our love affair over this one on the previous board. Decided, though, that it's my 2nd favorite record ever, after Exile.durdencommatyler wrote:Now I know what I'm gonna listen to on the way home from work.harmless wrote:neutral fucking milk fucking hotel fucking

An oldie but a goodie.
Saturation - urge overkill
Sister Havana was overrated, but still pretty great, the real gems here are positive bleeding, crack babies, and especially dropout and heaven 90210, they both still slay me and remind me of high school.
Gonna cue up exit the dragon next, which is a much different, and better album. Much love for urge.
