4 years of a corrupt Clinton Presidency will ensure an even worse president 4 years from now. Suck it up and do the right thing. Vote Trump. Get it over with. It will be easier for us all. Voting for Clinton is reckless.

Re: Election 2016
This campaign quite literally has forced HRC to move further left in her platform. When Bernie announced his Presidency and it seemed like an impossibility that he'd come anywhere near this close, every progressive I know said it was worth him running if it pushed the policy conversation within the Democratic party further to the left. This campaign was hardly a waste of time.dprival78 wrote:Very disappointing that he just fell in line behind queen Hill, and I'm not even a supporter. Turns his whole campaign into a waste of time..tragabigzanda wrote:It's sad watching Bernie try to rally his supporters behind Clinton. It's in such blatant opposition to his anti-establishment platform. What's sad about it is that you know he really believe in his message. Watch him roll over for Hillary and the DNC feels like when Artax drowns in the Swamps of Sadness.

It's not about the Presidency, it's about the Supreme Court. This is the most important election of my lifetime in terms of swaying SCOTUS one way or another. A Trump Presidency will give conservatives a lock on the Supreme Court for years and years to come.BurtReynolds wrote:4 years of a corrupt Clinton Presidency will ensure an even worse president 4 years from now. So you know, if you're ok with people who think gayness can and should be cured on the Supreme Court, then by all means vote for Trump.

I take solace in the fact that I really don't have any say in who the next president of the United States will be.

Why would you expect HRC to ever do the will of the Bernie crowd once she's put in power? She's the absolute epitome of what is wrong with politics.. She'll serve the needs of those that pay her lots of money - as she's always done. Why else would they pay her (or her husband) that money?cutuphalfdead wrote:This campaign quite literally has forced HRC to move further left in her platform. Sure, she'll say things to appease people over the next few months, and maybe even throw the progressives a bone here and there on some trivial issues during her reign. But do you honestly think Hillary Clinton, with her track record, will actually serve anyone other then the corporate and financial interests that have enriched her? She's as dirty as they come.

I don't think it's an all or nothing thing. I think she'll do, or at least try to do what she can within the legislative climate, some things and won't do others.dprival78 wrote:Why would you expect HRC to ever do the will of the Bernie crowd once she's put in power?
