My wife fell asleep before this, and when I told her about it she laughed about Orton's two failed drug tests.

People keep going wild about how could Orton say that given his history, but that doesn't really matter, this is wrestling. What Orton did was get people interested in that match, which is the entire point of a promo(which is often lost these days.)

Of course, of course. Neither of us are big Orton fans, though.

No he was Fonzy Finn still. I was shocked he won that match clean, Reigns must really be in the doghouse.

From what I've heard that paint job takes 4 or 5 hours to do. It's actually a good thing because it will keep them from having him do it all the time.

Watch for me tonight in the 4th row behind where (I'm guessing they changed it for smackdown too) the announce tables were. I'll be wearing a red bills hat and an AJ Styles shirt

They didn't move the announce table for SD so you should get some TV time.

Going by last night's show, Smackdown is clearly the "B" show. The wwe style booking mistakes that went away for Raw Monday returned with a vengeance last night. For example, when you have a really thin roster, you dont put every decent guy you have into the same match on the debut show. That 6 pack challenge should have been three matches that led to a triple threat at the end. On the plus side, the new camera angles were great and I'm glad Ziggler is the guy they've chosen to elevate out of the mid-card. The biggest disaster last night was Shane referring to Rhyno as "the hottest free agent available." Rhyno sucks and hasnt been relevant in over 15 years, saying that about him is like holding up a sign that says "YOU CAN SKIP THIS SHOW EVERY WEEK."

the dark match was announced as a tag team match featuring Dean Ambrose and then Rollins' music hit, Rollins and Bray vs Dean and Roman Reigns. Roman was booed mercilessly

What was the reaction like for Ziggler winning?

it got a pop, but more of a "what?! we had no idea they'd let him win anything!"

Yeah I feel like it might be too late for Ziggler. People gave up and stopped caring about him like a year ago.

If they let him work I think he could do fine

If you have the network and you haven't been watching the Cruiserweight Classic, do yourself a favor and watch this week's episode.

Two killer matches, but the main event with Ibushi and Cedric Alexander was amazing.

The CWC has been incredible, I usually watch that and NXT on Saturday morning, really looking forward to the Ibushi/Alexander match as everyone has been raving about it.
