looking forward to hearing Jack put Mike in his place.

For all his occasional buffoonery, when he's really locked in, I like McCready's playing way more than Jack White's.

Originality is overrated.

This supports my theory that Jack White is the modern-day Elvis

Honest question: Did Elvis the Pelvis steal his sweet dance moves from someone else, or was that his own thing?
Yeah, from Forrest Gump

Yeah, from Forrest Gump
There are a number of cultural critics who have discussed Elvis's appropriations of black dance and musical stylings. Some have called it an homage and that he's honoring those traditions; others say he fiendishly stole them without attribution. The truth is probably, of course, somewhere in between. As an offshoot of this, people have accused Forrest Gump of whitewashing the whole thing--i.e., it turns the narrative into "Elvis stole his moves from a white kid." Not the only racial issue people have with Forrest Gump.

Forrest Gump is a white baby boomer's wet dream.
