this old friend of mine was 'back home' visitin' cleaning out his stuff from his parents place, offered me 3 milk crates worth and a few turntables & a mixer

some real gems in there, Zappa's 'freak out', Deep Purple made in japan, few iron maidens

I asked him why me and he re-called some drunken chats years and years ago about vinyl and how I wanted to trade something for his KMFDM 'nihil' many moons ago.

since then i went out and picked up ''jammin' with edward'' great stuff here for any stones fan
Clutch's live @ googolplex (red vinyl!)

and received as payment on a hockey pool bet, stones 12 X 5 & tattoo you

Oh yeah.

First time issuing the first three albums on wax.. For those who haven't heard them or need some touchstones to get interested.. Think teenage fanclub/replacements but distinctly Australian.

Lee ranaldo also produced their first album (sound As ever) they supported soundgarden around the states in the mid 90s and played lollapalooza also.

Buy them, you won't regret it.

Really short on cash for the next few months, so I'm basically off of buying records and only have a few things that I pre-ordered to look forward to (and two of them are Sigur Ros records!). Today the Mad Season re-release arrived (non-RSD version; I think the only difference is that this one isn't numbered). Can't wait to spin it!

Crank this up today, and I'll promise to do the same tomorrow!

I'm waiting on my first summer paycheck on Friday to order some more stuff, but the other day I ordered "Emergency & I" by The Dismemberment Plan. Can't wait for that to arrive!

Lucky, and a little poor - some dude was selling them on a local auction site - $400 for the lot

Tom Petty - Hard Promises
Tom Petty - Long after Dark
Young/Stills - Long may you Run
CSNY - Deja Vu
Neil Young - Harvest Moon
NIN - Pretty Hate Machine
Rolling Stones - Dirty Work

Just got the No Jeremy/Falling Down single...i dont know if its because i order it at the Ten Club or what, but its a bigger single than the christmas ones...weird. Love the packaging and both songs sound incredibly good...No Jeremy is pure bliss, Jeff´s bass is a monster.

Vault 4 needs to be Red Rocks 95.

It's the same as the one they sent out as a Christmas single.
