I don't need a TV series. I'll check it out and see what it's like. But I don't need it. And if it never happens I won't miss it. But I actually am the reverse, I have little interest in a series that takes place between the saga episodes. I'd much rather have an Old Republic or Underworld series. If they're gonna do one at all, they should expand the universe not shrink it.

I think they should make a live action sitcom revolving around Han and Leia's married life. live audience, laugh track, the whole bit.

If they get they guy that plays Bucky in the captain America films? The one who's the spitting image of hamill? And make a series about Luke's travels in that 30 year gap but then have 4 or 5 other parallel storylines running, like establishing the new republic and then the empires remnants setting up the first order it could be awesome and potentially run for years.

Bucky from Captain America ain't gonna sign on for a TV show like that. Maybe if it was on HBO. And it was limited to no mor than 10 episodes a season. AND it was only 5 seasons. MAYBE.

But no he wouldn't.

Think about it. Tv is the new cinema. It would be a prestige role in the biggest brand of all.

TV is so much more credible and creative than it used to be. It's possible. I just don't see it. Honestly, if I was him, I'd be so sick of people telling me I look like Hamill that I'd stay as far away from Star Wars as possible. I wouldn't want my own brand/legacy to be "the guy who looks so much like Mark Hamill that he got to play young Luke forever!"

Look at it the other way. I don't know that guy from anything other than captain America. No bad thing to make his own name being Luke for this and following generations as Luke.

No, he'll be like Tim Meadows' Ladies Man with a Colt 45 in hand. His catchphrase will be "It works every time."
