Re: Election 2016
So a presidential candidate suggested people kill the president in the event decisions get made in the oval office they don't agree with?

He didn't say that. He never said that. He was misquoted. People took it out of context and distorted it. He never said that...

I watched the speach. He definitely hinted that. It was most likely probably a bad joke. However......BurtReynolds wrote:He didn't say that. He never said that. He was misquoted. People took it out of context and distorted it. He never said that...

He was trying to be funny....but that's not funny, and some of the lock Hillary up rednecks probably sincerely think killing her would be a good idea.

Come on, trag.tragabigzanda wrote:Pretty much.
We went out to breakfast this morning, and there was an older couple next to us talking over their coffee about how Trump was disgusting, and he was ruining their party. I think it's hysterically sad that people who have supported candidates on platforms of hate, bigotry, and corporate tax breaks all of a sudden find this one guy to be too much.
If you can't see a distinction between McCain and Romney (for example) and Trump, you're either not looking hard enough or being disingenuous.

I wouldn't be choked up if the old lady got locked up or croaked, I would just prefer it happen soon after she is elected, not before.

Anybody buying the rumors she has serious health issues? She does act a little strange at times.

Assange implied that murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich was the source of the DNC email leaks. If so, holy fuck.

assange must be goofy from too much aerosol isotope spray
sometimes things are really just as simple as:
russia likes to meddle in our affairs, and
DC still has a lot of violent people who try to rob other people;
and they don't always wear suits

I actually just that it was an urging of the NRA to get out and vote. Maybe I'm just not cynical enough.Strat wrote:I watched the speach. He definitely hinted that. But he was talking about what would happen after she got elected. How does this explanation make sense, with that context?surfndestroy wrote:I actually just that it was an urging of the NRA to get out and vote. He was just reviewing the name of the group his last comment was aimed at, then trailing off suspiciously while shadows fell and lightning crackled in the distance.

I thought it was meant in a way of, if Hilary gets voted in she'll pick one and possibly ore supreme court justices that the NRA would hate. The way they can stop that is to get out and vote. Makes no sense to kill her if she's elected, as another Democrat would take over as President who back the same type of judge.theplatypus wrote:But he was talking about what would happen after she got elected.
