I get lazy and don't bother writing first names and it becomes a thing. How bored are you?

That shot of Jyn walking out on to that platform with the tie fighter rising is awesome.

I wish they didn't include the Vader breath at the end, just the shot was enough. But that's my audio tracking history coming through.

Yep. That image represents what I wanted the movie to be.

Really expected Vader to be standin on top of it. They did it on rebels.

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Funny you mention that. Everyone is wondering is this the final season of rebels. It's coming right up against the time R1 is set in. Lot of speculation and hope that some of the rebels characters make cameos or are at least mentioned in R1. They're probably all gonna die too same way it's looking the R1 cast will.

Was hoping you liked it. That trailer has Gareth written all over it and it is beautiful. I'm rewatching Monsters and Godzilla this weekend just because.LoathedVermin72 wrote:That trailer made me cry. Oh my fucking god. Gareth Edwards is amazing.

And why is the Death Star upside-down?Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera:
A veteran of the Clone Wars.[9] The character previously appeared in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars[5][17] and was mentioned in the Star Wars Rebels episode "The Honorable Ones" and the novel Star Wars: Bloodline.

It slowly spins to keep gravity stable on the station.

Wasn't aware of that. At all. Thanks.
It's not upside down. The camera is underneath it looking up. I said the same thing on Twitter and was quickly corrected.
Hugely encouraged by that one shot. Shows some real innovative and clever thinking about shots and composition. I am warming up to Edwards.

Yeah, I know about the camera position.
I've seen some shots of his Rebels character but can't seem to find them right now.
edit: found it.

also, that probably works better in a cartoon than it would in live action.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Except that isn't Jyn Erso and this isn't a Rebels remake sodimejinky99 wrote:Really expected Vader to be standin on top of it. They did it on rebels.
