Take it to extremes for a moment.

Imagine that the trailer had consisted ONLY of scenes that weren't in the movie. Would this be enough to justify anger?

Imagine that the trailer had featured a popular, highly recognizable character who wasn't in the movie at all. Would this make it false advertising? If Darth Vader never shows up in Rogue One, won't some people be tricked out of money and time they might otherwise not have spent?

There's a level at which everybody can agree that an advertisement was manipulatively misleading. It's the question of where the line actually is that gets tricky.

Although if you're willingly paying hard earned money to see Suicide Squad, then I'm pretty sure you've just been screwed over by life and genetics in general.

I don't buy it. The behind-the-scenes photos and B-roll footage show shorts that are exactly as short as they are in the movie.

It doesn't seem to have happened here. But if it had, are you okay with that?

Seriously, no shtick, all joking aside. Are you okay with digitally removing an actor's, any actor, male or female, clothing in post production? Especially if the actor had no idea that was going to happen?

I am perfectly calm, friend.

And I already said it didn't happen. What I'm asking is if you would have a problem with it if it ever did happen.
