Mine too.

Hope it's just cancer. I could campaign lucasfilm and see he film before release/I die. They did it for like 35 people on force awakens. Jj even called them before they watched it and explained what they were doing.

Aren't you guys lucky I'm reading these books and aggregating stuff from podcasts?

Something big has become apparent. Spoiler it to be safe
Spoiler: show
so in The Life debt book which is part of the new canon, the emperors head archaeologist is digging on Jakku for something. It turns out Jakku used to be a verdant forest planet and something happened. A kid sneaks on his ship and stows away(this Is the kid everyone is saying later becomes Snoke). So it turns out that Jakku used to have some super important facility probably run by the sith and Jakku is to the sith as ahch to is to the Jedi and then also remember Rey has been hidden there and we don't know yet by who. Also in canon is Jedi temples and sith temples all need two Jedi to open them. Or a master and an apprentice. So it's looking likely Luke is actually aware of reys coming to him and he's actually waiting there and had given Lor San teka the map to hand over at a pre ordained time in order to gain full access to the temple.

Intriguing eh?

Williams told the crowd he would begin work in a few weeks on the much-anticipated “Star Wars: Episode VIII” after seeing an early cut. (Sorry fanboys, Williams said he does not yet know who Rey’s parents are.)

He said he accepted the invitation from Lucasfilm producer Kathleen Kennedy mainly because he was enchanted by actress Daisy Ridley’s portrayal of Rey and does not want another composer scoring her scenes.

Rian Johnson posted this. Post production has began on 8. 'From John Williams’ statement from 2 days ago we know that he will be watching a rough cut of the movie in a few weeks time, so Rian and film editor Bob Ducsay will be very busy this month. Also ILM are most likely working on some test shots from the movie. Once the final cut is locked, they can start their real work on the final shots.'-making stairwars.net

Thinking we could well see a trailer by Christmas. Would they put it in front of Rogue one though?

I doubt it. Why overshadow it? I'm thinking the first trailer will either be this fall (October or so) or early 2017.

Yes, but there was not another Star Wars movie coming out before it. I don't think they'll take away from Rogue One. If anything, they may show a trailer before Rogue One itself.

If they are smart they will release a trailer a few weeks after Rogue One releases to possible get people back into the theaters.

What I meant was would they put a trailer for 8 right in front of R1. In that screening. As part of its release?

if R1 gets slated by critics and doesn't do well, would they put a trailer for 8 out in the week or two following?
