Then steer the conversation towards Star Wars and just coast.

I just spat out a load of beer laughing:) thanks McP
Needed a good laugh
History of violence (?) is my favourite role of his. But all his other roles, the road, LOTR, captain Fantastic, each role seems sorta not similar but kinda linked somehow. I could be imagining that. Haven't seen the one you mentioned.

Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
I loved the first one. I adore these characters. I would have been 100% fine never having seen another adventure from Willie Stokes. But they went ahead and made one. And there's no way I'm not going to take them up on their offer. Maybe it'll be a disaster. Or maybe it'll be a rehash of the first one. I don't care.VinylGuy wrote:Really?
Looks pretty cheap to me.
Kathy Bates is playing his mother. And that's really the only "new" thing I need. I can't wait.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Saw his new film and the excellent Q&A after. There's a podcast recording of it if you want the link. He talks about the Cronenberg film and other stuff he's done. Not 1 LOTR question despite a sold out screening.
Meeting him tomorrow hopefully:) really excited

Yeah, this isn't something I'm excited about at all. But I'll wait and see what the trailer gives us. Maybe it'll be great.bune wrote:Jesus. This is a hate watch it anything.
