Have my draft tomorrow and have the #3 pick. Due to keepers these will be my best options:
Peterson
Gronk
E. Elliot
L. Miller
Dez

Any thoughts on who to go with?

if i have a top 7 or so pick i'm probably going to avoid elliott...i'm really not sure gronk is worth his current price

The lack of elite guys outside the top 5 has me thinking hard about getting an elite QB early and trusting my talent evaluation skills to build a deep roster and hope for rampant injuries to the skill positions.

Until AP proves otherwise, he's still elite. #3 is overpaying for anyone besides AP or Gronk. Go with one of those two. Is your league a PPR league? If so, go with Gronk.

No ppr. I think I'm going with AP. If Brady wasn't suspended I would have gone with Gronk.

anyone have any thoughts on 2nd and 3rd tier WRs that they expect to go off this year? im gonna do everything in my power to get Antonio brown but then want to have a stacked WR core since that always seems to be my weak point, but i know i cant get all the top WRs in a snake draft and cant afford all of them in an auction draft. the only one im really intrigued by is Amari Cooper, he is ranked 14th on the first cheat sheet ive printed out and the thought of him playing with the foot issue all last year and was still very impressive makes me think he could be a top 5 guy at the end of the season. plus im thinking of buying low on QB with Derek Carr so it would be a nice combo

but will it actually happen this year? he has shown flashes but seems to have disappointed most of the time, but if he does become big time this year he should be a great buy low option.
how about someone like TY Hilton? will he be available a little later on since he had a down year last year?

All of Arizona's wide-outs have virtually identical ADP. It's tough. Maybe that means none of them are great options because the ball will be spread around too much. Maybe it means all of them are viable options. I'm struggling with Arizona, though. They're so stacked. If I take anyone from that team it'll be Palmer or their defense, probably.

TY Hilton should go fairly early in most drafts. 2nd or 3rd round, easy. Don't think about his down year. Luck is back. I was reading some stats though that showed Luck targeted Moncreif more in red/end zone play than Hilton. So, if you're looking for someone in later rounds, keep your eye on him. His ceiling is super high when Luck is under center.

good call, i hadnt thought about him. i mainly trying to prepare for my auction draft next weekend then ill try to base my other drafts off of that but all others are snake style, but im really considering spending about $150 of the $200 available to spend on my top 3 wide outs and make due with $50 to buy the rest of my team but we will see, but if i miss out on some of the top tier guys then Moncrief will definitely be on my radar now.

Hey guys,

So I started my own league on yahoo after doing leagues for a few years. It's a cash league, 25 dollar buy in with 1 point PPR and 3 IDP players. If you want to join, just PM me for a link.
