Christ, I don't know if it's the writing, acting, or directing that makes World's Greatest Dad so terrible. Everything (other than the 'suicide') is telegraphed with gigantic semaphore flags throughout. Jesus.
Krist was hard to recognize, almost didn't notice it was him.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I kinda remember when that movie came out. I had no interest. Reading the synopsis on IMDB makes me REALLY want to see it.tragabigzanda wrote:I had no idea what this movie was about. Watched Cell the other night. What a disappointment of a movie - really enjoyed the book, and the actors in this are good, but it was just so dull and a chore to get through and really badly put together

Re: What movies are you watching?
My favorite bit of trivia is that they filmed the entire movie with the cast and used that performance as a point of reference. I want to watch that version.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Watching Rango with my nephew.

The animal designs are great, and the weird hallucination sequence was cool

The director's cut is a bit better than the theatrical one.
