Touche. I more meant I know what Harry and Ginny and all them look like, it's the kids I don't know and they're the main characters. For example, Scorpius (yes, that's really what Draco named his son) sounds to me like Colin Creevey for some reason.

I just pictured the kids like their parents for the most part. Except Rose. I pictured her as mixed race because I know they cast an African American woman as Hermione.

That makes sense since the stage direction for young Hermione is literally "The person who plays Rose".

Wrapping this up now. Really great first hand account of revolutionary Ireland. Not a great read for someone not familiar with the story, as names and events are referred to without explanation. But if you are, this is a really cool, unique perspective from one of the most badass women to ever live.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was fun. Nowhere near as good as JK's proper novels. But I loved being back in the world. And it made me want to read the books again. I adore that world she created. So rich and full of wonder and imagination (and good food ).

Anyway, I hope this makes its way to Broadway. I'd love to see it staged. There's a lot of spectacle written into the the script and it would be magical to see how they pull it off live.

Hell, it'd be nice if they did the "film it live and show it in theaters" thing. WB/JK/Whomever would make bank off that easy.

Speaking of books: Do you like Cthulu? Do you like ghosts? Do you like magic? How about racism? If you answered yes to all of these things you'd love "Lovecraft Country".

This was pretty good. Each chapter focused on different characters within a larger story and some of the chapters and characters were more interesting than others. The secondary character stories were the best. It was a little disappointed it wasn't really scary though it had a few moments. Overall I liked it.

Yeah, I loved the way the stories all came together at the end too. Though my favorite is that each story was different, from Eldritch Horror to just a simple ghost story.

Amy Schumer's book. I think she's pretty funny but the book isn't making me laugh. At all.

Guys, Station Eleven was beautiful. I fucking adore this book. Like, I know this is super morbid, but I kind of hope, years and years and years, decades from now, when I'm in my mid 120s and it's time for my light to fade out... I kinda want to revisit the book again. I would love for Station Eleven to be the last book I ever read when I'm old and ready to die.

I started reading this okay fantasy series (B-, tops) and it is six books long and i have to slog through it because im a completist. this is why its so hard for me to start new things.

I'm the same way. I started a Transformers book because hey, I need something that's just mindless and fun every now and then. Nope, not this time. It's a terrible book that sets up the Bay movies and the cartoons at the same time and introduces Dark Energon from Unicron and just goes batshit crazy with the OP Decepticons and by the end I just wanted to shoot myself and it was only the first book. Like, they would introduce 'formers and you'd be all "Hey, I know that guy" and then he'd be dead before you finished your internal thought. Almost literally blink and you'll miss it introductions.

I don't want to read the other two but I know they exist and therefore I kind of have to. But in good time...it's not like I'm going to forget anything if I don't read them in sequential order.
