They had something on the screen in Chicago too - not sure if it was the trailer I just watched or something different - do remember seeing Steve and Jeff and noticing it was on a loop with alot of down time in between, sadly, I was in line trying to get a t-shirt.

Instead of lame song request signs, has anyone thought about holding anti song signs, like "Don't play Imagine"?

I was more bothered by th repetition than the number of covers. Walking on to Baba then ending with it and the MoW/Patriot pairing was just like Fenway1. Repetition is not what keeps Pearl Jam selling out stadiums.

There are too many of them, they're all from the same boring classic-rock hit parade, and they're generally not very good.
Pretty much every cover they've added in the last decade or so has been terrible. Fuck the Comfortably Numbs and All Along the Watchtowers of the world, give me Timeless Melody any day.
Aint Talkin Bout Love was an awesome one. Mike got to show off and the randomness of it was fun. Some of the others have just ok though.
I loved how they said they'd do it one time, one time only, and then three years later at the same venue they did it again. :/

It's also a really bad, pointless cover.

I thought it was very well performed all 3 times it was performed. Absurd? Absolutely. But good.

This really pissed off Eddie in the past. I think he would spite you and play it.

Yea at first, I thought what a tease, but then they actually played it! Ed had a great dedication with it to the UCONN women's b-ball team. And the next Hartford show they paired it with Eruption. When Mike plays it other times it can feel a little out of place, but there it was great!

1) i was in the pit, crowd was great. Most energy in a while for me and my area.

2) I feel opening with Lowlight got everybody in their seats. Considering its a stadium show, that makes sense to me.

3) Not a strong setlist and too many covers. But i didn't really notice until i read this thread. It was just a great time.

4) Hilarious, every time Ed got into an emotional soliloquy, the guy behind me bellowed, "Ed, you're fine, you're fine Ed...."

5) We got more than enough of 'Corporate Vedder' which was to be expected. During the those moments, all i saw was Ted Dibiase. Was waiting for Ed to literally blow Theo on stage so i think we made out okay.

6) Saw my first legitimate black Pearl Jam fan. Had a vintage Yield tour t-shirt on. Looked like he had worn it a bunch of times.

6) I didn't hear Sirens, so it was an excellent show although unthought known was pushing it.
