I like the slow burn. GIves a chance for them to play more of those amazing songs that would generally be lost due to only 1 slow burn opener.

If you get Release, you have no business getting Long Road.

Did it have the boom/mike organ/guitar banter in it? That is usually what makes it take forever.
2000 Crazy Mary for life. I'm going to go listen to the Chicago version from that year to cleanse the pallet even thinking about more recent versions.

Yeah, it is clearly the best arrangement of the song. I'm partial to Seattle 2 2000's rendition.

Yup. 2000 Crazy Mary is great, but it doesn't mean 2003/5-ish Crazy Mary isn't great as well.

Back on topic, I am little mixed about OTE. I love it, but it's one the crowd doesn't know and it's long, so it's tricky to place in a set.

I am not mixed about Last Kiss into Got Some. Two of the worst songs in the catalog back to back. What a buzz kill that was.

You're right 2000 Crazy Mary's greatness isn't what makes modern Crazy Mary shitty. Modern Crazy Mary's shittyness does that on its own.

Purely as a setlist watcher, the Last Kiss-Got Some-Comatose stretch was the only thing that produced a yawn from me.
