Re: NBA Thread
Draymond looked like shit during the Olympics and I can see him regressing a little. There's not going to be as much of an opportunity for him to do his donkey point forward thing with durant doing iso pull up threes and curry doing his stupid and predictable behind the back dribble into 30 foot I'll advised brick.

Re: NBA Thread
Draymond will be alright. I'm concerned with their depth. I look for them to play their rookies and Looney quite a bit in the regular season to get them some reps. Wouldn't be surprised if they only win 55-60 games as they figure everything out.verb_to_trust wrote:Draymond looked like shit during the Olympics and I can see him regressing a little. I look for the Clippers to really make a run for it this year. I can't believe I just typed that.

The Warriors will "only" win 60-65 games in the regular season but will cruise through the West virtually untested in the playoffs. The Cavs might be able to push them a little bit, but GS will win in 5 or 6 tops.
The playoffs will be a complete snoozefest as we wait for the inevitable.

Obviously Bosh is a huge wildcard, but most of the talk seems to be pretty optimistic about him being ready to go from day one. Then there's the fact that Bosh and Whiteside haven't exactly lit the world on fire playing together. Oh, and how will Whiteside play now that he's gotten paid? We have some good young talent that I'm excited about but they're going to have to play major roles now with at least 3/5 if not 4/5 of our playoff starting lineup gone.
It could be a total disaster or we could be in the mix for a 6/7/8 seed at best probably.

What have the Clippers done besides get one year older? You can't trust Blake's body and they have no depth.

I dunno, I figured they can't have terrible luck/choke jobs four years in a row?verb_to_trust wrote:What have the Clippers done besides get one year older? You can't trust Blake's body and they have no depth.

Guess Beal and Wall are now making public that they "don't like each other on the court". Ugh.

Wall probably forgets Beal plays on the team. Thinks he's a trainer or something.

Re: NBA Thread
I saw that yesterday and was going to post about it. So basically, they hate each other even though Wall tried to spin it as a positive and normal thing. That's a great sign for wizards fans.E.H. Ruddock wrote:and fwiw, Beal needs to stfu. He isn't nearly as good as he thinks he is.

Beal is way overrated imo as a Wizards fan. He isn't great at one particular way to the basket (driving, posting up, etc.). He is just good/ok at them. He needs to stfu in this instance. Yes, he showed up in one playoff series, big deal.

Pre-Knee Injuries Rose was better than Beal is or ever will be.

Pre knee injury rose was better that Wall and Beal ever will be. Combined. Beal is pretty shit to be honest. Can't stay healthy and isn't a game changer when he is. Omg, he can knock down a jumper. Stop everything and worship him. He's just a guy. Like Cuttino Mobley or something.Monkey_Driven wrote:Pre-Knee Injuries Rose was better than Beal is or ever will be.

Pretty good comparison as far as actual skills as a player. The two of them are kind of like Francis and Cuttino but those two actually liked each other, too much maybe.verb_to_trust wrote:Pre knee injury rose was better that Wall and Beal ever will be.
