if the texans actually use him i think he could put up big numbers - he averaged 5.1 yards a carry in 2014 and 4.5 in 2015...plus it's ppr and he generally gets a decent amount of receptionsspike wrote:you're really putting all your eggs in the lamar miller basket, huh?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i had the 15th pick...QB's went off the board like crazy...i almost had brady and bortles fall to me in the fifth, but i barely missed them...ended up grabbing stafford late in the 7th and dalton late in the 9th

looks pretty good on paper but you know how that goes....I couldnt make our draft about 3 or 4 years ago and was auto-drafted and still ended up winning the league..lennytheweedwhacker wrote:that would help!doug rr wrote:i need to find out when our draft is...

I've heard/seen multiple sources refer to Lamar Miller as "bust proof." I like that pick.spike wrote:you're really putting all your eggs in the lamar miller basket, huh?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i had the 15th pick...QB's went off the board like crazy...i almost had brady and bortles fall to me in the fifth, but i barely missed them...ended up grabbing stafford late in the 7th and dalton late in the 9th

Keeper league question:
We can keep 2. If we only keep one or none, we get picks in place of those, picked before everyone else who is keeping two.
I really don't have anyone worth keeping except for Tom Brady. Is he worth keeping? I would still end up drafting another QB anyway. And if he is my only keeper, I will get another pick ahead of most everyone else. Thoughts?

I'm leaning that way but also waiting to see what QB's are kept and not available.spike wrote:i'd go no keepers and take the picks.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Keeper league question:

if you keep brady, you should be able to get romo later on. he'll be great the first four games before hitting IR.E.H. Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
im really struggling with my prep for the auction draft ive got on sunday, RB is really gonna be a tough position this year so im curious if anyone has and thoughts or feelings on lower level backs.
i wont be able to afford guys like AP, Gurley, Elliott, David Johnson, Freeman, Le'Veon, Lamar Miller, and its questionable if i will be able to afford Doug Martin, Eddie Lacy, Jamaal Charles, Lesean McCoy.
so after all those solid starters, can anyone suggest some guys for me to put on my radar? ive thought of Rawls with Michael as a handcuff, im not intrested in Stewart, im wondering about CJ anderson this year, will Forte hold up, who will carry the ball for the Raiders/Cinci/Baltimore/Jags/Philly. just looking for some advice on who to feel half way decent about.

i'm not convinced forte will stay healthy, and even if he does i think powell will get a decent amount of touches...not sure he's starter worthy thoughDr. Van Nostrand wrote:im really struggling with my prep for the auction draft ive got on sunday, RB is really gonna be a tough position this year so im curious if anyone has and thoughts or feelings on lower level backs.

rashad jennings or one of the chargers backs, maybe? carlos hyde could be worth the risk/price

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
the other issue im kinda running into is i work a bit with another guy in the league to make sure we dont step on each others toes during the draft so we give eachother an idea of who we are looking at, and he is looking at Hyde, Demarco, Matt Jones and Melvin Gordon. so thats a pretty solid group of mid to lower level guys. how about Langford, can he be a good fantasy starter?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i'm not convinced forte will stay healthy, and even if he does i think powell will get a decent amount of touches...not sure he's starter worthy thoughDr. Van Nostrand wrote:im really struggling with my prep for the auction draft ive got on sunday, RB is really gonna be a tough position this year so im curious if anyone has and thoughts or feelings on lower level backs.

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
auction drafts require no prep. just print off a player value list and use that as a rough outline, get other guys to bid high early so they run out of money later, then pick up all the mid level value guys you want.
or, hey, just cheat...
