The ADA thread at the Pit was pretty eye opening. Buying ADA tickets when you aren't disabled is shitty.

That was an interesting crowd. They sure were shit to Frank Black.
yea i was up on the Rail for that. Young 17 year old strat. I was punched in the head for about 5 minutes straight "i have one goal dude and thats to get to the front". Dude kept punching me. I finally asked to get dragged out. My leg almost snapped in half getting dragged over the barrier. That was the moment i realized the only time I care to be up close is if i have a seat.
I had a similar experience at Rapid City. The front of the stage was AWFUL, so I went over the rail and stood about 20 feet away from Stone. It was my first PJ show, so I was in awe. 16 year-old parasolmonster.
BTW, it dawned on me a few months ago, that I might possibly be the only person to have a complete copy of the show (I combined the best source with own private, terrible recording). If anyone is interested I can let you know whenever I upload it.

How incomplete is the source that has circulated?

And i'm interested.

I haven't listened to the show in awhile so I don't remember specifics, but all the ones I have found are missing a few seconds/pieces from the first few songs. My copy doesn't add much, but it does make a complete show.

Corner Store Improv was great, it was the first time they played the "Man Trilogy", and "Do the Evolution" is my favorite performance of the song ever.

And just so I don't derail the thread, I hate modern Pearl Jam concerts because I'm scared to death of the "embarrassing drunks", the "if I wear a Who shirt then maybe Ed will sleep with me" crowd, and the "weekend warrior grungies" who grew out a goatee the week before and bought a flannel shirt just for the show while being completely oblivious that they are the modern equivalent to the mullet crowd of 15 years ago.

I went with my mom (who is in a wheelchair) to Paul McCartney earlier this year. The ADA seats were at the top of the 100 section & amazing. All of the other people in the section were groups of 4 with one grotesquely obese person. Didn't even bother to bring a cane or anything. The ADAct has made it so you can't even ask someone to justify their need for special seats, etc. I was surprised to not see any emotional support dogs up there with us.

I wish someone on the Pit who's suffered a loss could have a sense of humor about it and request a better song:

My mom was in a forklift accident so I guess you could it was Fatal. Please play the song.

My dog ran into the street and was run over all because I dropped the Leash. For Higsby. Please.

My doctor said the tumor is inoperable. Please play Dirty Frank.

Stub hub had front row ADA seats for the MMJ Red Rocks show selling at $70 a pop. 2 seats lireally in front of everybody at a sold out show.

I called to assess the situation and they were happy to sell them to me even though I told them I wasn't disabled.

I chose not to purchase them for obvious reasons. Then sat 85 rows back on the left wing for $90. FML

yeah but I've been to a few MMJ shows so in that venue its just kind of nice to sit wherever and take it in.

Those shows were brilliant.

Also, sorry to throw off the stream of excellent posts here.
