General Pearl Jam Bitching

I just want to bitch about the fact the band doesn't have all their albums in print on vinyl, and the ones that are I don't care to own on vinyl.

No Code, Yield, Binaural......press them up.

This has been my biggest problem with the band for a long time.

I remember how hard it was to finally track down Binaural. In fact, I couldn't ever manage it, someone else had to track it down form me. My wife gave it too me on the night we got engaged.

But I had no trouble getting inexpensive, brand new, still sealed copies of No Code and Yield. I didn't even know Yield was such a rare commodity.

But I am super pissed that I missed out on the PJ20 Soundtrack vinyl. Didn't even know it was on sale, then all of a sudden it was sold out and impossible to find. Sucks.

I don't think it's expecting too much that if the band is going to do something that they do it right. Releasing vinyl isn't exactly being pioneers of the business. There's a right way and a wrong way. They have chosen the wrong way at times. Presenting facts shouldn't count as bitching

otherwise it would be false.

facts upon which to bitch are very real indeed.

some bitch material is more affective than others, bringing out a more robust bitch, yes.

but an important aspect of any kind of bitching is the selective attention to the bitch material that draws out the bitch itself and thus this thread.

for example, one could spend his or her whole life living amongst a pile of so-called "bitch facts" and yet never bitch.

conversely, one could sift and scan and search and upon finding the quantifiable quantitative facts, proceed then to bitching.

I think we're all going to get the shaft on this change. Thinking my membership might not be worth it anymore... since we live in such a shitty location to actually see bands, it could help on the off chance they decide to play Columbia, SC again, but it's a five hour drive so that means time off work, hotel, etc. More money than it's worth (i know, it's terrible i just said that).

I think we're all going to get the shaft on this change. Thinking my membership might not be worth it anymore... since we live in such a shitty location to actually see bands, it could help on the off chance they decide to play Columbia, SC again, but it's a five hour drive so that means time off work, hotel, etc. More money than it's worth (i know, it's terrible i just said that).

we can pretty easily make trips to the DC area, Va Beach, Raleigh NC, Charlotte NC, Columbia SC, Philly/Camden. might need a hotel for a couple of them, but we can always find a cheap one or a place to camp. and most of the reasonable places we can see them should be the less popular shows with better chance to get the tickets. though they do have to play the south for most all of those LOL
