Man, what a waste...the cast is awful, even Paul Giamatti with that wig...the guy who plays Cube is hilariously bad. And wtf happen after that cool first scene?? then its just a bad soap opera with them making faces and acting weird...Suge knight´s faces my god!! what the fuck...people liked this? They thought this was great?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

A few things here and there mostly based in their talented cast and thats it. Pretty unremarkable.

Exactly. I remember Bret Easton Ellis talking about this too, about the whole controversy being kinda stupid because, the movie is shit. And it actually surprises me how bad is it...they even left out Dre hitting woman. Really the worst.tragabigzanda wrote:Actually watching this movie put a new spin on the Oscars controversy (as in it wasn't a good movie and didn't deserve any noms).LoathedVermin72 wrote:I really, really hate that movie.VinylGuy wrote:Straight Outta Compton.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Watched Batman v. Superman on the plane, what a mess. While I thought that Affleck did a good job as Bruce Wayne but a lot of it just did not make much sense. I like Jesse Eisenberg in other roles but as Lex seemed miscast. After Nolan's version pushed to make Batman realistic having him interact with Superman & that plotline just do not go together. at all. I know, different Batman universe but still. At least Batman only appeared in night scenes. And again with the CGI finale.

Thinking about watching Terminator Genisys again. Watching Jai Courtney and Emilia Clark compete for world's worst actor is a lot of fun.

Don't Think Twice was excellent. Way better than I expected. So much truth and heart. Honest and funny and hit too many nerves. I loved it.

The Revenant. Really liked it. Great pace, amazing cinematography, and solid acting all around (I liked Tom Hardy in particular, even if he was doing his Bane voice).
