Are you sure? Usually even small towns have them. Where do you live, in a vegan county?wease wrote:We don't even have a butcher's shop.

Re: What are you making tonight?
Positive. A couple of mom & pop grocery stores and the rest chain big box supermarkets. There is a slaughterhouse about 40-45 minutes away, but I'm not sure if they sell to the public anymore. They used to, but a few things changed when ownership changed a couple years back. There was talk of them not selling to the public, but I've not been there since the change. There WAS a butcher shop a few years ago but they couldn't get enough business to stay open. They've been closed for 3-4 years now. It's now a used car lot...
Meat wise, one of the mom & pops have traditionally been the best meat in town, but Kroger's fresh meat case has some quality meat in it, too.

I used half a batard from the store, home made sauce (I didn't make it, my brother in law did) and my own mix of 'pizza seasoning "doug rr wrote:Stouffers and some wine?malice wrote:home made (sort of) french bread pizza.malice wrote:I don't know :/
I don't really drink wine, I had iced tea. it wasnt as good as the Stouffer's pizza but still good. and itll make decent leftovers for lunch tomorrow
