A couple of years ago Kofi kicked Miz in the face during a match and it actually connected. One of my favorite memories.

One can mask the other. Right now, great matches are the only thing keeping it from being a dumpster fire. In 98/99, the writing was good people forget that most of the matches were shit.

Yeah the Cesaro situation is baffling. The guy is tailor made for what they are doing with Smackdown, so they stick him on Raw and barely use him.paintedbynumbers wrote:My problem is raw is that they have a 3 hour show and still couldn't find a place for Cesaro-Sheamus. How do you have 3 hrs and not use Cesaro? I also am glad that Carmella turned as she was getting cricket level reactions

I hate the tear away suit thing so much, it's like Party Boy not James Bond.

agreed...and maybe it's something i just need to get over, but that and just the general half-ass attempt to create that character for him has taken me out of his matchesnumbers wrote:I hate the tear away suit thing so much, it's like Party Boy not James Bond.

I feel like he's real close to that point Ziggler got to about a year ago. People just give up on him ever being used correctly and stop caring. If Ziggler had gotten the push he has right now, a year and a half ago, he would have gotten huge reactions.

the upcoming football season coupled with a bit of a burnout with wrestling caused me to cancel the network today
also, watching the pilot of justified yesterday probably had something to do with it as well

Wow, never thought in a million years they'd pull the trigger on a KO title run. Stoked for him.

That too. Nakamura/Lesnar as well. So many possibilities. Which means we'll get Cena vs Orton or something.numbers wrote:Owens-Lesnar would be so awesome.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
I'm pleased that Owens won, but I'm not too keen on how the match finished. It sort of sucks that Cass was the only one to lose clean; if they're still in the business of burying Reigns, why not have him go out first? There were so many 2-counts after superman punches last night that he looked weak anyways. The finish I was hoping for was that HHH was going to try and help Rollins, but Owens somehow beat him anyway. The storyline I'm hoping for now is: HHH tries to get Owens to act as his lackey, but Owen refuses and holds the title as sort of a facey-heel.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
I think Owens should have hit his finisher on Rollins before pinning him, but other than that I didn't mind the finish.
