The best part about this whole entire show was the little wet spot left behind on the bench when Naz picked up the bag of pills that his lawyer pulled out of her cooch.

Oh and I thought one of the guards or another inmate would kill Naz on his way out, not the other way around.

Oh and if a show has aired and you don't want spoilers, stay out of the fucking thread.

After Stone said "you're free" I was really surprised to see him back at Rikers ... like this eerie feeling something's not right.

It reminded me of the first episode with Naz driving around.Bammer wrote:Yeah, way tense.VinylGuy wrote:Yeah, that was tense.Bammer wrote:Oh and I thought one of the guards or another inmate would kill Naz on his way out, not the other way around.

That finished off well, I too loved the final episode and that every thing is pretty much fucked for all involved now. The real kicker for me was that Gordon from Sesame St was the jury foreman

It wasn't until the second viewing that I realized the judge was the Yellow King.Fuzzcharger wrote:That finished off well, I too loved the final episode and that every thing is pretty much fucked for all involved now. The real kicker for me was that Gordon from Sesame St was the jury foreman![]()

I didn't realize it was him until the last episode--maybe he was out of focus in all the others?Dscans wrote:It wasn't until the second viewing that I realized the judge was the Yellow King.Fuzzcharger wrote:That finished off well, I too loved the final episode and that every thing is pretty much fucked for all involved now. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Oh i loved the first one. The tension was so well crafted.tragabigzanda wrote:We finished this yesterday. It was very good. The first ep was pretty ridiculous, but it got progressively better. By the end, it just felt like a really, really good episode of Law & Order, which is fine by me. I really like the ambiguity about the crime that the viewer is left with at the end; it definitely allows one to project his own prejudices onto the suspects. And the guy who played Naz was fantastic (and he's also great in Nightcrawler). He went through quite a transformation throughout the arc of the series.

Binged on this over the past week, finished it at 2am last night.
Really enjoyed the show, and as trag said already, I too loved the overall ambiguity of it all, even now after the trial was over. Still nothing 100% confirmed, although I'll agree it does seem pretty clear what occurred.
That so many people were so affected was a strong theme, but yes, depressing for all involved.
One thing I do take away is the total horror that any of us would face in the unthinkable event of having our normal lives turned upside down and subject to the intense scrutiny of legal proceedings. When Naz asked the prosecutor "How would you like it" and everyone thought it was in response to her question as to his sexual preferences, to then go and talk of the strain of just being on trial and having everything about yourself questioned, that was great.
They really kept you on your toes and off balance the entire series. I enjoyed that very much.
