Reys theme is weirdly similar to the imperial march.

This is a really worthwhile listen on the themes motivations and structure of force awakens but mainly on why it isn't a new hope redone.

Joking aside, you and certain others will love this guy. He structures the whole thing as a lecture. And really gets into it all. Beyond anyone else I've heard. Myth storytelling structure echoes reprisals in theme. All that. Way above my pay grade but I'm glad I listened.


Ps did you finish the Sunstein audiobook yet? That was awesome.
