What is that?
It's a program that makes it look like your internetting from somewhere else. It's useful for downloading movies and watching region locked videos.

I use private internet access, which is very reliable and costs about 7 a month
I want to get one, but I feel like I will somehow screw it up or get scanned.

Please elaborate.
I was downloading some movie, and forgot to turn off my torrent when I was done, so I was also seeding. We got e-mails from our cable company (I think they may have even flashed something on the screen) saying we were violating the terms of our contract, etc. They slowed our internet down for a day and then threatened worse action if I continued to download stuff.

The program itself is pretty easy to use and I pay for it through Amazon payments, so they don't have direct access to my cc info.

He's not wrong about the finances. It doesn't sound like he's actually watched the movie, though.

I was afraid he was going to rip into it and break my heart, but he didn't. It seems like, if anything, the guy who made The Passion of the Christ would appreciate the mythological aspects of BVS.
