If i saw it right, i think the Cowboys are hiring Monte Kiffin to replace Rob Ryan. Now i love Monte from his time with Tampa, but i think he is too old to be effective these days

I thought Rob Ryan got a pretty raw deal. I disagreed with some of his schemes but we just didn't have the players healthy at the end of the year to compete on defense, especially against good running teams.

I agree, he wasnt the problem, and he had a work in progress going on, if Jerry Jones decided to clean house on the coaching staff then he would obviously have to go, but to keep Garrett and get rid of Ryan makes no sense unless Rob did something specific to Jerry to piss him off.

It looks like Mark Trestman, Darrell Bevell and Bruce Arians are the finalists for the Bears HC job

yep, just saw that, so he is very possibly going to Philly, and Bevell is a finalist for the Bears, so Seattle could lose both of their Coordinators in the next couple of days

Well, fuck. Two coaches going to division rivals--as well as Andy Reid? Sigh.

Jason La Canfora suggested Ken Whisenhunt as a replacement for McCoy if this happened. I'd be down with that if he doesn't get another HC job somewhere.

That wouldn't be bad at all, the only real problem he had in Arizona was the lack of a QB. So i think he is a good offensive coach for sure

And Mark Trestman is the new HC of the Chicago Bears.
I don't follow the CFL at all, but I've been hearing his name for a couple of years, and he is supposed to be a pretty respected offensive mind, and has apparently worked with Cutler in the past as well.

Do they try to get Vick to come back at a reduced rate? He would seem to fit Kelly's offense quite well.

You and me both, brotha. That's crazy. And I hope like hell they keep Vick. I don't want him anywhere near KC.
