It's the same reason conquerors throughout history puffed up their opponents: It makes them look better to beat a worthy opponent than to kill defenseless children that get ranked beating a bunch of shitty teams in whatever B-league shithole they're in.

I'm still getting used to being in the SEC. I don't really feel like I know who to root for or against. We don't really have any rivals in the league yet, so it's pretty easy to casually cheer for SEC teams against non conference opponents. I won't cheer for Tennessee or South Carolina though. That being said, I don't like any Big 12 school besides Iowa State.

It's true I guess that Mizzou doesn't have the rivalries yet. Good point MD

Very true. Both seem to have benefited. The Alabama linebackers looked slightly smaller to me but much faster, almost like Ha Ha came back and is playing linebacker now.

our d-line has just been lights out the last few years which is huge...before that we really struggled to get a pass rush and that makes a world of difference

As someone who has attending an SEC game on his bucket list, I wouldn't care if the foe I got was some I-AA scrub. How many Bama games have you been to?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:going to t-town for the game saturday...i'm usually not a fan of going to the weaker games, but got face value on a ticket and didn't go to one last year

Man, that second half was special.jwfocker wrote:Finally recovered from the FSU game. Loved what a saw from Francios.
I can't wait for FSU vs Clempson. Going to be epic.
3 of my 4 playoff teams I would want would be Bama, Clemson and FSU. The 4th can be the best of the rest.

Yep. Agree with everything you said. FSU vs Clemson will be majestic.
