Best West Coast rap album since Chronic 2001. This song especially kills me:

Check it out y'all.

I have to listen to this again. My first time through I could tell he was a gifted storyteller but the beats felt kind of tame and a little mismatched to the vocals--I found myself drifting off a few minutes into every song. I dunno, maybe I was just listening on an off day.

Have you heard any of the other records from the guys in Lamar's crew, Orpheus?

Nah, this one is way better if you ask me, definitely improves with each listen.

I haven't heard about any of the rappers he really works with, but I like Kendrick a lot.
