This is great, I had a similar experience during a half marathon about 3 yrs ago. Body was shot about 1 mile to the finish due to poor pacing, but the way the course was laid out you could hear the music at the finish line--they were playing Alive and the volume was cranked ridiculously loud (maybe it was the echo off the buildings, I don't know). Talk about an adrenaline shot, my legs came alive and finally captured my breath. Despite the poor pacing, still finished with one of my best half times.
Sorry to hijack, although I will say despite the complaints (I didn't buy the re-issue), No Code will always be one of my Top 3 PJ albums.

I once walked into Hi-way Pizza (RIP) in State College, PA and everybody in the place was singing along loudly to the acoustic b-side version of "Elderly Woman". The cooks, the servers, the customers...everyone. It was surreal.
So it didn't surprise me that it was a big deal when they played there in 2003.
