Im sure most of it was because of the rain but i played terrible, probably somewhere around 20 - 25 over par, but i was slipping on the tee boxes and the discs were slipping out of my hand, so i did what i could with the conditions
Yeah it's rarely a good idea to play in the rain. IT's easy to slip and pull something like a groin. Think of the children!!!

and i was scared of slipping the whole time, so i would either try for a good tee shot and slip, or i would half ass the shot so i wouldnt slip and throw it terrible anyway. i think yesterday ended my disc golf in the rain, atleast when i know its already gonna be raining

My first official 18 holes this morning. Cumberland Green. What's the rule when one's disc lands a little over a foot away from a really pissed off bull snake?

I threw 5 different discs today. I need so much practice.

If it was my disc then the rule would be to run away as fast as possible

Throw discs at the snake until it moves.

Do you have to keep track of how many shots it took to get rid of the snake and add it to your score?

If you are playing a casual round, no.

If you are playing in a tournament, probably.

Good thing it was a casual round for us. Mostly just an opportunity for me to get out there and see what goes. I threw that River I have. That thing has some zing. I used my putter to drive quite a bit because of the wind, but then I put too much on it within putting range.

There were moments when I felt like T Rex out there and then there were moments when I did ok.

Fishy and his pal Janis and I about the 3rd or 4th hole; Janis' disc landed near the snake. He didn't see it until it coiled up and started hissing. That's about when he started screaming. LOL. Just shy of screaming like a girl.

He looked like this as he leaped away from it:

I heard him and turned my head in just enough time to see the leap he took. It scared the heck out of him. I could have sworn I heard it rattle, but it was just the dry grass that was shaking. So I didn't help calm him when I yelled "I heard it rattle!"

You've got that right, so we are gonna try to use an old bicycle wheel for the top, cut the bottom off an old garbage can with a piece of ply wood in it for the basket and a stand that we can hook a pole to. Hopefully it works
