Plot for Avatar 2 revealed, and as expected it sounds horrible.

James Cameron has finally revealed the plot of Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 in a new interview with Variety and his plans sound suspiciously similar to that other blockbuster holiday franchise, Star Wars.

“The storyline in the sequels really follows Jake and Neytiri and their children. It’s more of a family saga about the struggle with the humans,” Cameron said. It’s a bit of a surprising reveal, since one of the reasons Avatar has struggled to stay in the pop consciousness is the utter blandness of its lead characters. It seems the series will be shackled to Sam Worthington through Avatar 3 at least.

t has been speculated that Capt Colonel Quaritch would meet his doom in Avatar 2 but now, it seems things can be another way round. Director James Cameron has confirmed that Capt Colonel Quaritch’s comeback in the second movie is expected. He has stated that the character will evolve in the new three-film saga at different places.

Actor, Stephen Lang has also disclosed in an interview that his character is important in all the movies, Avatar 2, 3, 4 and 5. He has lately revealed that he is engaged in reading the scripts of these movies. Fans would be happy to know that the filming for Avatar 2 would start in 2017.

The actor has said that the production team is working hard. According to HNGN, he added that the objective, of course, is to satisfy and entertain the fans of Avatar movie.

Fans of the franchise initially thought that Lang’s character is dead. But to their delight, Capt Colonel Quaritch is still there in the new movies. There’s is no denying that the badass military man is one of the reasons why so many moviegoers enjoyed Avatar. They definitely did not want to lose him.

In the first installment, Stephen Lang showcased excellent acting skills. He portrayed the role of a greedy character very well and moviegoers hoped that he did not get killed.

It is expected that Avatar 2 will premiere in December 2018. Avatar 3 will release in 2020; Avatar 4 in 2022 and Avatar 5 in 2023. Fans of the franchise wish the production goes smooth all the way, so that the release dates do not get pushed further.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
