For sure, but I don't know if they'd be for nirvana. I have a friend who was close to Kurt, and from the sounds of it, Nirvana wouldn't have lasted much longer. Or at least would have gone on a hiatus. There were a lot of moving parts behind the scenes that really tore at the band (outside Cobain's drug issues)

Heard similar second hand but from albini. All was not well and there were diverse problems within the band and huge pressure from forces outside the band. It wasn't going to last after in utero and he was going solo.
