Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. Why can't Scorcese end his movies? They are amazing but then they just go on and on until I'm tired of them.

The Wolf of Wall Street was fun. It was other things too. But definitely fun.

Every scene with Jonah Hill was fun. Also Leo snorting coke out of that girl's ass at the beginning? That was fun too.
But that totaled maybe 15 minutes in a movie that I otherwise found to suck.
