Best Unknown Albums tourney?

I like that concept, but worry that people will just listen to the one song. Or for some albums with a broad range of sounds, that could be tough. What about three songs? Anyway, I'll do whatever RM thinks is best.

They will just listen to that one song, but they won't listen to the whole album anyway. If a few songs are dripped in a few people might commit

Chud's mix still gets play in my house and Bloke's gets some play (it's been edited). Mine was still the most consistent.

I can understand the editing - I threw all sorts of shit into those mixes!

I discovered lots of stuff through them also. Most rewarding.

Sorry trag, wasn't trying to rain on your idea. I like the idea very much, I just wonder about the execution in practice. It's genuinely very difficult to get most of the crew here to actually listen to anything they aren't already familiar with, at least by association.

Another way is similar to Laments song thread. Just upload an album and do a write up and all that can be bothered or have the time to listen can chime in. And then when that's exhausted someone else can start a new discussion.

It wasn't actually the post, but rather the idea of importing a bunch of mixes into iTunes. So my problem is with iTunes, and the way Lament was running the contest made it obvious that I would have a lot of iTunes headaches throughout the process.

Ah, yeah, I can definitely see that. I don't use iTunes for anything other than ripping CDs, and that's only because I can't be bothered to find something that's better at that.
