Pearl Jam's Best Live Performances

Post by PHATJ »

In this thread, show us your favorite performances of PJ songs. Your "Best of the Best". I've been listening to some classic live tracks lately, and it always makes me re-fall in love with Pearl Jam. These are a few of the songs I always come back to and they always seem to hit the spot. Long live the great PJ performances.

Daughter was so fucking good on the 2000 tour. But then again, so was everything.

The entire upper deck at Wrigley shook repeatedly during the fast songs and it was fucking terrifying.

We just have to get them to play Wrigley in 2019 and strategically position BO'B.

The best part of that RITFW with Grohl is that even he can't make Jack's drums not sound like shit

So with all this talk of best live performances, is there enough interest to finally do a 'Green Habit' compilation update?

I was thinking we start with reviewing the original picks and suggest any updates, before moving onto the 2005-2016 live cannon...

Why not just start from scratch? Almost seems like it would be more fun not to duplicate any tracks, so as not to render the original completely obsolete. Some duplication might be inevitable but there are so many live versions of most of their songs...

Why not indeed!

How about using a google spreadsheet where we can all list our nominations for discussion?

I think this time we limit the inclusion of covers to only those that have been played say 10 or more times.
