Re: RANK THE ALBUMS
I added Lost Dogs 1 & 2 in the mix, plus another "album" of other full band, studio recorded songs not on LD.
I also calculated a second score. The first score is the numerical average of all "true" songs, with the fillers/throw aways left out.
The second score is the first score plus another weighted score. The weighted score gives more weight to the top 8 and top 4 of each album, plus includes some weighting to the overall numerical average, including the filler/throw aways. I tried to balance somehow the fact that the best songs on the album should raise the album, while the fillers may distract from the album. Turns out to be practically the same, but Vitalogy was closer to Yield.
I am surprised how much I've grown to love Binaural when I really think about it, and if I could include the Binaural outtakes, it would be even more on top. I've got eight 5-star or 4.5-star songs from Binaural and its outtakes. I made the decision to treat Soon Forget as a "filler", since ed solo on a ukelele seems similar to Ed solo on an accordion, or ed spoken work I'm Open, etc... That also raises Binaural's score.
1. BINAURAL 4.17 8.52
2. VITALOGY 4.15 8.37
3. YIELD 4.08 8.33
4. NO CODE 3.96 8.11
5. TEN 3.91 8.07
6. VS 3.71 7.62
7. RIOT ACT 3.71 7.60
8. L D II 3.67 7.52
9. L DOGS I 3.59 7.50
10. OTHER 3.50 7.24
11. PEARL JAM 3.46 7.12
12. BACKSP 3.23 6.69
13. L BOLT 3.13 6.45

Re: RANK THE ALBUMS
The Stereogum ranking is easily the worst one. It has their best 2 albuns at the bottom.

What would cause someone to rate Faithful, In Hiding & Slight Of Hand a "2" while rating Life Wasted & Worldwide Suicide a full "5"? Brain damage?

Re: RANK THE ALBUMS
I get that.
It's weird because even in my most down periods with the band, they always feel right. I haven't listened to a full album in a long time. I'm spinning Yield right now and it makes me feel like a real boy again. No matter what, they've got my back. And it doesn't seem to matter how long it's been. Listening to Pearl Jam again is like coming home.
