My dad was always a classic rock kinda guy. But when I went through my hardcore Epitaph phase in my early teens, he really gravitated towards some of the bands I was listening to. His favorite was easily the song "Olympia WA" by Rancid. He still listens to it to this day. So that song will always remind me of him.

:nice:

My dad tried to listen to "my music" from time to time growing up. He hated all of it. He kinda like Smells Like Teen Spirit. But that was about it. And that was only kinda sometimes.

I gave Liz a different song because Durden didn't like "I'm On Fire". But really it's "I'm On Fire".

Nice work, Jorge.

The Weezer track seems a bit out of place next to those others. But I LOVE it.

This is a mix of "songs they liked/listened to a lot", "songs I like that just remind me of them", and "songs that had some kind of significance in our relationship".
