Re: First Single from #10: Mind Your Manners
Are we kidding? Cos I had a dream the other night about a video but it was the band doing one of the Uke songs and eds head was in a vice grips clamp and his eyes were darting everywhere trying to get out as he sang. I'm not kidding

Re: First Single from #10: Mind Your Manners
According to Ed, this title of this song is a quote that comes from what they told Obama when he got into office.
It opens with a quick, chiming riff and then gets heavy, fast, and punky. YOU BETTER MIND YOUR MANNERS BOY, MIND YOUR MANNERS
The tour is going to be extensive, starting in the US late fall/winter and was planned around what Springsteen did on the Fall/Winter 2003 Rising Tour, so if you want an idea on venues and cities, that's pretty close. Then next Summer is Europe and Winter 14 will be Australia, New Zealand, Japan. Gonna be fun.
The new album is my favorite one they've ever done. Some great short pop songs and some weirder stuff too, and some definite future stadium anthems. It flows kind of like a Guided by Voices record.

I believe him based on the fact that this is his first post.

I dreamed that I was hanging out with Morrissey but he was kind of a mean jerk to me, and then we tried to watch a movie but the picture kept fading in and out.

(I meant kill them as in steal their crowd. Not actually kill them.)

Sorry, I wasn't clear. The song isn't about pearl jam talking to Obama-- it's about what some very powerful men told Obama when he got into office. Then they showed him something that scared him into doing it.

Your dream spoke the truth Jorge. Morrisey is an A grade bastard at the best of times.
