With Pearl Jam -- well, the 10 Club, specifically -- the bigger the build up, the bigger the letdown. Let's not forget the S/T artwork build up/reveal/debacle. They milked the hell out of a photoshoped avocado.

Me too. I was hoping the official cover would be the brown paper, torn in the upper left corner, revealing just a bit of the blue beneath. Something about that really spoke to me.

Imagine my surprise when we got zombie heads, puzzle pieces, and avocado slices.

I keep coming into these threads with the desire to say "not even PJ and 10C are this clueless and pathetic to create such a buildup for anything but a new album"

Alas - I was just unable to pull the trigger. My hesitancy in being able to believe that says a lot.
