Inglorious Basterds
Snatch
and Mrs & Mrs Smith all deserve to be ranked higher
Inglorious Basterds is a terrible, terrible film. It has two great scenes. One good scene and the rest of it can go straight to hell.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith is outstanding! It's "low ranking" shouldn't reflect on my feelings for that film as much as it should reflect on how good I think Pitt's catalog is.
I loved Inglorious Basterds - especially Pitt's character

I could be talked into moving Mr & Mrs Smith up three spots. It might be better than LotF. MAYBE. But there's no way it's better than Burn After Reading.

Inglorious Basterds is better than fucking cinematic-version-of-a-Papa-Roach-song Fight Club

I don't think there's a single scene with Brad Pitt in that movie that I care for. Pitt, did a fine job, don't get me wrong. He performs admirably in the film. But the movie is junk.

You think Mr. & Mrs. Smith is better or worse now in light of today's news?

That's up to you. I harbor zero ill will for anyone who likes that movie. But it was not something I enjoyed or appreciated. Again, outside of a couple of just outstanding scenes.

Had that movie bee a 6 minute short film that was the opening scene, it might be my favorite movie of all time.
