Sun Kil Moon, really? I'm not knowledgable enough to argue, just surprised.
Did J&MC even do another record besides Psycho Candy? Is it worth hearing?

I actually like a couple of songs on The Science of Things too. (Maybe I should have posted this in the Admit Something thread.)PHATJ wrote:Bush (I actually enjoy Sixteen Stone from time to time)

Me too, man. It's definitely the nostalgic factor that does it for me.bodysnatcher wrote:I have so many teenage memories burned into my brain every time a song from that album comes onPHATJ wrote:Bush (I actually enjoy Sixteen Stone from time to time)

I like Bush's first three records. They each took a step down from the one before but I like them.PHATJ wrote:Me too, man. Me three. I listened to Sixteen Stone a lot last fall when I was going on research trips for my last book. Somehow it worked well for the experience, and I had a lot of nostalgia trips.PHATJ wrote:Me too, man. Somehow most of us missed the most obvious example, maybe ever:

Maybe Ryan Adams, if we're talkin' just his solo albums.
Chris Cornell in that case too.
Chris Cornell in that case too.

Thought I really like some of the individual songs on the other two, those records weren't nearly as good as the first one.

You guys inspired me to put Sixteen Stone on this morning. And I'm actually enjoying it! "Alien" remains the best Bush song.bodysnatcher wrote:I have so many teenage memories burned into my brain every time a song from that album comes onPHATJ wrote:Bush (I actually enjoy Sixteen Stone from time to time)

This is the first record that came to mind when I saw this thread. It's still a top 10 overall record for me and they never even came close to topping it.psychobain wrote:
