Dunn coming off the bench to get a ton of reps against second units will be nice for his development.

Agreed. I just hope everyone stays healthy because it should be a really fun season.Monkey_Driven wrote:PHATJ wrote:Karl-Anthony Townsveddar10 wrote:

With Thibs as a coach I wouldn't count on it. I bet he will change his ways a bit though.PHATJ wrote:Agreed. I just hope everyone stays healthy because it should be a really fun season.Monkey_Driven wrote:PHATJ wrote:Karl-Anthony Townsveddar10 wrote:

So, is he just stuck in limbo until his contract runs out or can he "retire" and then come back to another team?4/5 wrote:Sigh.

Re: NBA Thread
If he plays less than 10 games (not sure on that number) before February, the team can release him without being responsible for rest of contract. He could play somewhere else, but would still have to pass a physical. That's the issue, isn't it? Or is Miami being stricter on his physical so they don't have to keep him?Monkey_Driven wrote:So, is he just stuck in limbo until his contract runs out or can he "retire" and then come back to another team?4/5 wrote:Sigh.

I just found this article to explain the different scenarios:E.H. Let Bosh live his life. What a bunch of garbage that he can't play. He's just as likely to have an issue walking down the street as on the court. How about we just humanely euthanize him?

It's more dangerous for him to drive a car. Is Pat Riley going to revoke his DL? This is a mistake by the Heat. You can't treat your stars this way.

Re: NBA Thread
I see both sides of this. First, I 100% believe that if Bosh wants to play, he has the right to take those risks and play. At the same time I understand why a franchise would be so terrified of something awful happening on the court during a game that they wouldn't allow him to play.verb_to_trust wrote:It's more dangerous for him to drive a car. I think it will be very interesting to see if other teams are willing to allow him to play or if maybe the Heat are using this as an excuse to get out from under his salary. (In Miami's defense, that theory doesn't necessarily pan out especially with next year's FA class not looking as strong as we thought it would have a few months ago, and the fact that Riley is always in WIN NOW mode and losing Bosh is a major blow for this season.)

Re: NBA Thread
poor guy
Bosh, 32, is due $76 million over the next three seasons of his five-year, $118 million contract. And while he is expected to be paid all of that even if he doesn’t play again,
