i even thought the second one was pretty good...more of the same, but i didn't mind
Still haven't seen the second one.
i went to see it at the cheap theater...it was definitely worth a $1.50

I thought it was a jumbled mess and trying too hard, muchl ike anchorman 2.

Though I still enjoyed my time watching them both.

Zoolander is fantastic. So many great lines.
The wife put off seeing for the longest time. I think she thought it would be totally stupid and wasn't interested. She was surprised when I added to her iPod one day without telling her. She finally watched in on a plane one day and lost her mind. She thought it was great. We've seen it a bunch since and she always laughs. It's awesome.

we were kinda obsessed with it in college...i've only seen it maybe two or three times in the last 10 years, but i think it would still generally hold up for me

Yeah, it's probably been 5 years since I've watched it. But it held up on the most recent viewing.

it was on netflix in the last year or so and i think i had it playing in the background, but it's definitely been awhile since i've given it a serious watch

on a related note, i watched part of caddyshack as i was falling asleep a few weeks ago and i didn't remember it being so over the top and kinda bad

Anchorman 2 and Zoolander 2 are both better than their respective originals.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

All those 80s movies are over the top. It's one of the problems I have with people getting upset at the new Ghostbusters for being to broad and over the top. I'm like, really? And the original isn't? But I digress....

I love Caddyshack.

I agree with Zoolander 2. Anchorman 2 dont quite find the mood...the only great scene is when Ron is blind. And the whole shark thing.

I haven't seen it, but it's Doug Liman, so I'm interested. Any good?
