He defends the prequels vehemently and considers EpVII to be fan fiction.

It essentially IS fan fiction. It just happens to be canon.

that is nonsense. That podcast Dime linked a few pages back (and probably in a different thread, but somewhere on Red Mosquito for sure!) does a great job dismantling that idea from a storytelling perspective (it's part of a fantastic series on Star Wars in general).

He has 3 podcasts on the prequels as well. I hope to start that tonight.

Have we questioned yet how Star Wars toys make it into the Star Wars Universe?

That was FN-2765's only keepsake he was allowed to have. The imperial hounds are using it to catch his scent after being captured by a band of rebels trying to steal plans for a giant super-weapon being built, dubbed the "Death Star".

Jyns father is friends with director Krennic and has been a long my time. Krennic gets him on board, possibly against his will, to help build the Death Star cos the seperatists were gonna possibly abduct him and his family. So it makes sense Jyn as a little girl would have some toys of them.

Fair call - I had toys of my dad's building partners when I was growing up

So bob iger was quoted indirectly in rolling stone and apparently rogue one, the Han movie and the third untitled movie are being written as a trilogy of their own and will be related.

That's cool.
