I'm not sure they could pull it off. The ending was so perfect, and I can't imagine how they would successfully set up a plot that worked for a sequel. But yea, if they do one, I'm all over it.

"It's bad" has a whole different connotation than just saying "I don't like it" especially when talking about a game that a lot of people really enjoy. Personally, Last of Us isn't for me, but I'd never call it bad art.

I fundamentally disagree. I know I and others have been over this a hundred times already. This essentially boils down to objectivity (not real) versus subjectivity. Whether or not other people enjoy something has no bearing on whether it's any good.

"I don't like bad things. I don't like this, therefore it is bad" is kind of an insular way to view anything up to and including art. Its like you're refusing to accept another perspective to just label this game bad art. I don't care if you like the game or not, I just don't understand how you jump to "bad" as opposed to "not for me." It's not like it's some shitty movie tie in transformers game

It's not "it's bad because I don't like it," it's "it's bad because of this, that, and this, and therefore I don't like it." You are still approaching this as if there can be some kind of objective "good" removed from one's subjective reactions, which is a fallacy.

There is an objective good and it's part of my whole point or at least your logic doesn't follow itself. How can I look at a game like Last of Us, see that it is a well made game in many respects, but it isn't for me and not think of it as a bad game? Finding perspective is literally removing yourself from subjective reactions. That you think that's a fallacy or impossible to do might explain your stubbornness.

Good point. I'm not sure how they could pull it off either. It's probably why we haven't seen one yet but a sequel on the current generation of consoles would be a smart play on their part.
