Re: Star Wars: The Prequels
I've just turned on revenge of the sith. Disappointed to misremember that grievous is actually in this one but this film I think has the coolest opening sequences out of all the Star Wars films. Just gets right into it with the battle above Coruscant. Looks awesome

Re: Star Wars: The Prequels
Yeah even revenge of the sith isn't as good as I remember it. It's probably the most flawed for being plot holes all over and too on the nose when it is trying to address the connections to the OT
I hope I see the prequels getting made again in a new way in my lifetime. These are embarrassing.

I'm pretty sure your recollection is correcttragabigzanda wrote:My recollection from ROTS is that near the end, when they're putting the ship down on the fiery planet (Sorusuub?), they try to convey a rough landing by making the camera all shaky, but without actually having anything inside the ship get tossed around. But I only saw it once. It's not that bad, is it?

Yet it's still a better film than everything LV likes. Combined.

Liam Neeson is awesome. Wish they'd held onto his character for longer.

Re: Star Wars: The Prequels
I like the prequels, but I wish Jar Jar was toned down in TPM, that there was no virgin birth and no midichlorians, that the pod race was a little shorter, that they didn't have that stupid sequence in AotC with the fight in the arena, and the factory scenes leading up to it. Probably a few other things as well. With that said, RotS is the most underrated SW film. All three movies have some cool scenes and characters, and are beautifully made.

I dont know. Its like watching a video game. hard to get emotionally invested and looks more terrible as the years go on. I really did enjoy RotS mostly though...Anders wrote:I like the prequels, but I wish Jar Jar was toned down in TPM, that there was no virgin birth and no midichlorians, that the pod race was a little shorter, that they didn't have that stupid sequence in AotC with the fight in the arena, and the factory scenes leading up to it. I hated them all, and still do. I mean really, I can't think of one thing I like about these movies. EVERYTHING IS WRONG!!!

Re: Star Wars: The Prequels
I'm glad Edwards tossed a prequel reference into RO. Nice to see them get official acknowledgement.
