I think a nice list of suggestions for each round's beginning would be for the selector to provide:

-Link to streaming services search engine
-A quick summary of the film and its context--like the first paragraph of the Wikipedia entry, which can be copied-and-pasted if you don't want to write your own, but be sure to remove anything spoiler-y. In fact, the first post should probably be spoiler-free, but we should all agree that in any post after that, the entire film is fair game.
-Be the first to offer something for discussion--your observations, questions, or thoughts should be ready to go sooner than anybody else's so that things can get rolling.

Skitch said something about picking a time for people to watch simultaneously (those who are able to, of course); I'm not sure that I would choose to participate in that personally, but you guys are welcome to give it a go if you want.

It would be great to get some mod support to sticky each new Movie Club thread. That would be nice.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
