This was a super low-percentage joke, but I'm glad it reached one person.96583UP wrote:Simple Torture wrote:I'll explain in a minute; I've gotta go take a shit.wease wrote:What's 538?

Read pages 212 and 213 of this thread. It was all kicked off by a question from Trag about polling.cutuphalfdead wrote:Someone explain it to me, please.

Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton's campaign Saturday night seized on a New York Times report about Donald Trump's 1995 tax records, in which the Times showed he declared a $916 million loss that could have allowed him to legally skip paying federal income taxes for years.

This is going to distract nicely from the fact that he suggested Saturday night that Hillary has had affairs: "[Her] "only loyalty is to her financial contributors and to herself. I don't even think she's loyal to Bill, you wanna know the truth. And really folks really...Why should she be, right? Why should she be?"Strat wrote:Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton's campaign Saturday night seized on a New York Times report about Donald Trump's 1995 tax records, in which the Times showed he declared a $916 million loss that could have allowed him to legally skip paying federal income taxes for years.

Wow. He'll just suggest anything without any basis in truth. And his supporters think it's the most delicious kool aid ever.

I think this is where the wheels start to come off the Trump train. He's always going to have his diehard (and very vocal) supporters, but this tack he's taking by going after Bill Clinton is ridiculous, particularly since it's already been tried and failed. I have a feeling he's going to become completely unhinged at the second debate and really lose independents.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

Inb4 the "Trump comeback" storyline gains steam following the next debate because he showed great restraint by neither pulling his pants down nor physically assaulting Hillary in response to her vicious bullying attacks.meatwad wrote:I think this is where the wheels start to come off the Trump train. From a piece I just read
And this is where it gets goodIn a living room in western Pennsylvania, the Republican National Convention was on TV, and Melanie Austin was getting impatient.
"Who's that guy?" she said, watching some billionaire talk about prosperity and tolerance. "Prosperity and tolerance? Forget that s***."
She was a 52-year-old woman who had worked 20 years for the railroad, had once been a Democrat and was now a Republican, and counted herself among the growing swathe of people who occupied the fringes of American politics but were increasingly becoming part of the mainstream.
Like millions of others, she believed that President Barack Obama was a Muslim. And like so many she had gotten to know online through social media, she also believed that he was likely gay, that Michelle Obama could be a man, and that the Obama children were possibly kidnapped from a family now searching for them.

The guy who made those stained glasses was also boning George's wife at the time and ended up running off with her.
It's probably the best reason I've heard to vote Trump 2016.

Scary that this might actually be true.
